Dear friends, members, and supporters of the Devetashko Plateau Association,
October marks the end of our two-year international project called INHERIT - Heritage interpretation through Digital Storytelling Experiential Tourism Development in Rural Areas, funded by the EU's Erasmus+ program.
The main goal of the project was to help our entrepreneurs working in the field of rural tourism to create and promote tourism products and to offer experiential tourism.
With the active participation of the local communities, we identified emblematic elements of the cultural and natural heritage of the Devetashko Plateau. We then developed these elements into products to offer to different groups of potential tourists. With this, we expect to further increase the popularity of the area as a modern and attractive tourist destination.
At the conference, we will present the results of our joint work – a digital portfolio in three languages - Bulgarian, English, and Romanian, containing fascinating stories about our sites, entertaining games, and attractive photos of the area and the villages.
The meeting will take place on October 10, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Youth
Center in the city of Lovech.
We have also invited the three unicipalities - Letnitsa, Lovech, and Sevlievo, the Ministry of Tourism, as well as representatives of the media, tour operators, and travel bloggers. You will also meet our partners from Cyprus, Slovakia, and Spain who will share the resilts and the products they developed in their rural areas.
We are confident that together we will be able to present the Devetaki Plateau in a dignified manner to Bulgaria and the world.
